Age Concern New Zealand is a not-for-profit, charitable organisation, dedicated to promoting the quality of life and wellbeing of older people, advocating a message of positive, healthy ageing for people of all ages. There is a local Age Concern Council in all cities and in most provincial centres around New Zealand.

Citizens Advice Bureaux is a voluntary organisation providing free, confidential information and advice to anyone about any query or problem. CAB is staffed by trained volunteers who can access information by computer or from the extensive range of resources held by each bureaux. The CAB has 87 offices spread from Kaitaia to Invercargill, and also a freephone number (0800 FOR CAB) which ensures no cost to any phone caller.
The website and freephone are a valuable resource for people of all ages.
SeniorNet offers older adults an opportunity to get on the Internet and learn more about new communication and information technology. The website lists all the services on offer including contact details for the 77 learning centres dotted around the country, as well as information on how to set up a learning centre in your region if there isn't one there already.

It helps you calculate budgets, loan repayments, how much interest you can make on your savings and how long you'd have to save to reach your goals. The website also allows you to make your own plan, save it on the site, and go back and update it at any time.
